Description
Ax Fuel has been discontinued in favor of Light Fuel.
Ax Fuel is my own personal blend. Less carbs, more fat, and a decent amount of protein, as I’m coming from a Paleo diet.
Lightly chocolate-flavored, with cinnamon, its taste is strangely reminiscent of graham crackers.

The first point I want to emphasize is that I add a serving of Green Vibrance to the mixture everyday. I haven’t really tried quantifying whether or not it makes a significant difference but it does change the micronutrient profile of this blend, so keep that in mind if you’re reading this review.
I mix mine up the previous night with an immersion blender before shaking in the fat, then refrigerate it overnight. It does require another shake before drinking due to some settling, but the texture is fine.
I enjoy the taste, but I also water it down more than the directions say and I add the Green Vibrance every day, which doesn’t make a huge difference but does change the taste slightly from what Alex intended. Still, it’s mostly neutral to me with the only taste really standing out being the cinnamon. For me, it’s neutral enough that I don’t have a hard time sticking with it.
Of all the blends I’ve tried (from CBF as well as other vendors), I’ve had probably the best digestive response to this blend. No gas buildup and I’m much more regular than I’ve been before.
Lastly, my energy levels are well sustained throughout the day. No real highs and lows.
I’d definitely recommend this blend to someone who’s looking for a low carb (but not ketogenic) alternative to the normal soylent nutrition profile.

This was my first flavor/variety that I ordered from custombodyfuel.
The texture of the main part of the liquid was very smooth, and not as gritty/silty as other ones I’ve tried. The addition of the chia seeds, which turn into a texture that’s like a cross between pomegranate seeds and those little boba balls, provide a nice texture and the ability to chew something if you’re feeling like it.
The taste is generally pleasing. It’s very mild, but it essentially tastes like a cinnamon graham cracker.
Not bad at all. I put a second order in after trying a couple others.

Energy – meh
Texture – protein shake w/- chia seeds
Taste – graham cracker souffle
Digestion – lactose intolerant(fart-fest daily)
This is my first ‘soylent-like’ diet so my judgement may not be the best. Ax Fuel has a cinnamon-graham cracker type of taste to it.
Tons of chia seeds that float to the top but good overall. The first two days were hard, as I went cold turkey. After the initial start all went well. I went to the gym after about 4 days of starting and felt fine.
Shipping was fast, sealed in 7 zip-lock plastics bags for my 7 days worth. The suck-iest part was running out. Will come back to this, but will experiment around first with some higher carb blends for now.
