Description

Clean Fuel Plus has been discontinued in favor of Light Fuel.

Clean Fuel Plus is my recommended variation on the hypoallergenic Clean Fuel Plain blend, made from rice protein and rice flour and free of all common allergens. Also, vegan!

I’ve reduced the carbs a bit, increased the protein, and added chia seeds for fiber and omega-3. If you find that the Plain leaves you feeling unsatisfied due to its carb-heavy formula, give the Plus a try.

Tastes sweet and neutral, with vanilla. Like Schmoylent but without the oats or maltodextrin.

All prices include shipping. Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.

Note: Shortly after I ordered, I received an email from axcho: “Did you know that no one has ever ordered Clean Fuel again after trying it? I’m guessing that means that no one likes it!”. He goes on to encourage a review:

I had a shipment of Soylent 1.0, but wanted to try some other formulas.

    Pros
    * It doesn’t use oat flour. Soylent 1.0 gives me gas. People say this is because it uses oat flour. This doesn’t give me gas.
    * It uses psyllium husk for fiber to help with digestion.
    * The macronutrients it contains are similar to Soylent. I’m not against ketogenic or paleo, but I didn’t want to change too many things in my diet at once.
    * It contains at least 100 grams of protein.
    * You add only regular canola oil and not MCT. I’m not against MCT, but it is expensive, and didn’t want to order a large bottle just to sample a week’s worth of a formula.

    Cons
    * You cannot use the 2 liter Soylent pitcher to mix one day’s worth of food. The formula starts out okay immediately after mixing, but after a couple hours in the fridge, it gets very very thick. So think that it will not pour, and you would need to eat it with a spoon
    * It doesn’t taste very good. You need to use 3 to 4 liters of liquid to mix with a one day bag, and this makes it taste even thinner. You will need to flavor it. I tried stevia and cinnamon / cocoa powder, but I found that it required a lot of stevia. The best solution, I found, was to add a couple cups of soy milk (or almond milk or coconut milk), half a bag of powder, and fill the rest of the 2 liter pitcher with water. I skipped the oil because the milk adds a lot of fat. The formula tastes acceptable this way, but I’d rather not have to add soy milk because I don’t know if drinking four glasses in addition to this is better or worse for me.

I won’t be reordering this formula.
