People Fuel Plain has been discontinued in favor of Schmilk.
People Fuel Plain is my take on the most popular DIY recipe, People Chow 3.0.1 – “Tortilla Perfection!”. Now lactose-free!
Tastes like Cheerios or corn tortillas, depending on who you ask.

Tastes too much of cinammon, smell is not great, and mixture is far too thick without almost doubling the amount of water recommended. It serves a purpose, but I’ve had some other options here (Schmoylent and Clean Fuel) and they are preferable in both taste and consistency.

the masa tastes like southern grits. Its is a very hard texture for me to eat large quantities of, and even harder coming off of ax fuel. I have purchased 2 weeks worth.
Probably more of a preference thing, but I dread downing a serving of this unless I’m starving.

The thought of a completely liquid diet was at first daunting, but two days in and I have upped my order for a full month. The taste is like a tortilla chip, but much less salty. It has kept me feeling satisfied and that is what I was worried about. The texture is a little off putting at first, but I was surprised at how quickly I got over it. I have not yet experimented with adding anything to enhance the flavor as I haven’t really minded it. The first drink of the day seems to take me a bit longer than the subsequent meals, but I have never been a big breakfast person.
Overall I really do enjoy the ease of the meals and the taste, while odd, is not a deal breaker.

So I’ve been on People Fuel Plain for over a week. Replaces about 2/3 meals in my day. General impression is that its just ok. Tastes of tortilla, very gritty texture with a lightly sweet after taste (from Stevia), and sometimes a hint of salt. Its not all that bad tasting. First day was the most difficult to get used to the texture. But after that, I didn’t mind it so much and on some-days even craved it. However this week I got a shipment of Schmoylent in, and that completely changed the scale on how I see PFP. Schmoylent felt more appealing in texture and taste on all levels. People Fuel plain is cheap, functional, and if you don’t like using oats, I would recommend it. However if you have trouble with texture or the idea of drinking a thick tortilla, I would probably look for another recipe.
I’ll be clear, I don’t hate it – but it’s flavor / texture isn’t for everyone. Hope this review helps!
