I have been using Clean for one month find myself looking forward to my next cup full. I mix it in a one cup bullet mixer and add Sunflower seed oil, I double the amount and it helps smooth out the grit.
I tend to sip on it during the day instead of drinking it all at once and outcome has been, I am cold turkey off coffee (3 weeks), no longer crave my after meal candy, I have lost 2 pounds, and only eat 2 or 3 regular meals a week mostly for social reasons.
I do notice a little gas, but nothing room clearing. I am also saving $50 a week on lunches, which almost offsets the cost of Clean for the week, not including the saving on the other meals of course.

First “Soylent”-type product I have tried and I love it. Even my wife, who was interested but dubious of this experiment, now looks forward to having it for breakfasts. Neutral-sweet with what I found to be a perfectly adequate texture even without refrigeration. Prepared the night before it’s a thick shake and even better. I went cold turkey off of caffeine at the same time I started replacing one (and occasionally two) meals per day with CFP and noticed little drop in energy or wakefulness, presumably since my typical breakfasts were simple carbs before. It’s almost time to order more and I have no qualms doing so. My only dilemma is that I chose CFP because I have had an inkling that I might have some mild food allergy so I’m hesitant to try any other kind — not a big deal really but something I may explore in the future. For now, not messing with success! Thanks!

This is the first Custom Body Fuel I’ve tried. I like its flavor more than Soylent’s. I’ve found 3 liters to be an optimal amount of water. The type of oil added also has a large effect on the taste. I’ve tried a half-cup of olive oil, which was decent. I then tried a half-cup of coconut oil which I thought was much better. I also tried using a half gallon of coconut milk instead of water and oil. That combination was pretty much delicious… but I wouldn’t want to buy a $4 carton of coconut milk every day.

Clean Fuel doesn’t give me gas like Soylent does.

So just to be clear, I ordered this with the intent that 2 weeks was going to be it. I was not intending to order again. I am trying to eat healthier and was looking for a proper cleanse with the full nutrients, that all of those horrid diets don’t ever really meet. I may buy again in the future, but that will be for a time when money is more readily available to me. So far though, I would probably buy something else and try it before repurchasing this.

For me it really is the grittiness. Even after letting it sit for a while, I have done overnight with varying degrees of water in it, it is still like drinking wet sand. That is the worst part. I got over any automatic rejection, or revulsion of it pretty quickly, by the second serving. That makes it sound worse, just my body wasn’t used to it. But I still don’t like it. The flavor is fine. I actually kind of like it as there is a mild flavor, almost like toasted plain tortilla chips or my mind keeps thinking of the nuttiness from a chocolate hazelnut milk shake that is seasonal at Burgerville (regional chain up her in the NW). I have found that I desire eating it with chocolate, which I probably won’t try.
