Description
People Chow Plus has been discontinued in favor of an improved recipe called People Fuel Plus.
People Chow Plus is my recommended variation on the popular People Chow Plain recipe.
I’ve reduced the carbs a bit, increased the protein, and added chia seeds and psyllium husk powder for fiber and omega-3. If you find that the Plain leaves you feeling unsatisfied due to its carb-heavy formula, give the Plus a try.
Tastes like Cheerios or corn tortillas, depending on who you ask. Corn, whey, and a hint of vanilla flavor.
All prices include shipping. Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.

I’m on my fifth day of using People Chow Plus, and it was a rocky start at first. Going from my normal junk food junkie/fast food/oh look a Tiramisu EAT IT diet to something clean (and basically sugar free) was a bit rough. I did it for every meal right off the bat for the full experience. It took a couple of days to get used to the texture and for my body to realize that ‘yes, I’m getting everything that I need from this’. I think I was going through sugar withdrawals a bit too.
By the end of the third day tho, I found myself really enjoying the consistancy and even the slight bit of sweetness to it. I almost craved it like I would have craved the hereto mentioned tiramisu. I wake up feeling great great GREAT, and I’ve been naturally waking up earlier and earlier than I normally would. Is anyone else getting that?
I just placed a month order for Shmoylent, and am planning to consume it for 90% of my meals for the next month, and probably order more. I’m really, really glad that this website is around, since the official Soylent would take 3 months to arrive. You might have to make this your official job Axcho! I plan on doing this regularly … Results better than I could ever have expected.

I’ve been drinking People Chow Plus for two weeks now, and I’m very happy with it. I’ve noticed myself slimming down a bit which is definitely a plus. Also, the energy I have throughout the day feels cleaner and more consistent. I use a blender and throw in a dollop of peanut butter and a banana, very tasty. I still have some cravings for solid food, but I’ve mainly been craving produce, which is pretty different for me. Overall, I’m a very satisfied customer!

Just placed my second order. So far been very pleased with the PCP. First order was shipped super fast, and product was great. I basically have been using as a one or two meal a day replacement option, cutting out the fast food lunches and late night frozen burritos. Based on how much better I’ve felt just getting rid of one or two unhealthy meals a day (more focused, more awake in the mornings, no more heartburn, etc.), I’m going to start replacing 2 or 3 meals a day. Nothing so rigid that I’ll feel like I have to turn down the occasional lunch with a co-worker or dinner with the family or summer BBQ. I hate feeling trapped, and that had me worried about starting a diet like this. I like variety. Well, considering the benefits I don’t feel overwhelmed making this my default choice for every meal. I’ve even noticed that my morning workouts are more productive and I seem to have a greater will power to go that extra mile.
As far as the experience of actually eating/drinking, it took me a couple of days to get used to it. It has slight vanilla smell to it, but I didn’t notice it in the flavor. I know this is supposed to taste like a corn product based on the ingredients, but it tastes like Cheerios to me. I’m assuming that’s the Chia seeds. I use Blender Bottles to mix, and have had no problems. It’s kind of weird the first time you drink if you’re not expecting it, but the Chia seeds seem to attract the other ingredients in the mix and become small little Cheerio tasting clumps with seeds at the center. When you’re drinking it this can be kind of weird at first. Shaking before every drink helps. After a while though, I’ve found I kind of like these little nuggets and end up straining some on my tongue when drinking. This gives a small bit of “chewable” food to sate that desire to gnaw and gnash. My first few bottles I dreaded getting to the bottom with the added sediment. Now it’s my favorite part.
PCP is very easily flavored, and I experimented with several of those pocket flavors for bottled water. They weren’t bad mostly, with orange being my favorite giving off an orangesicle flavor. After a while though, I just found I like the plain flavor as is. I do supplement a little sweetness daily with an EAS Carb Control shake after my morning work out. Since I dropped the oil from 5 tbsps to 3, it gives me a few more calories and some extra protein.

As a self-employed man who spends 6 days a week subcontracting businesses in several cities, I’m rarely home with enough spare time to devote to preparing a balanced meal. Even when I make a point to eat before leaving the house, I regularly find myself in hurry-up-and-wait scenarios in which I realize that it’s been hours since I last-ate. I was always having to apologize for my growling stomach, with the knowledge that it could be hours-still until I could step away long-enough to even place a delivery-order. Taking advantage of this powdered-food revolution has dissolved those problems – I always have a thermos of complete nutrition within reach. I’ve found People Chow-Plus to be a perfect replacement for balanced meals – It’s filling and (properly-prepared) goes down smooth (I always drink it chilled, with a pinch of cinnamon and cayenne added during mixing). The most-important benefit of a filling meal-replacement being so nutritionally-balanced is that I never have distracting cravings for supplementary foods – Being free from hunger frees me to be productive. It’s that simple. One final benefit I feel I should mention is that the choline contained in the formula seems to compliment my daily consumption of 200-plus milligrams of caffeine.
